The public waste management company Kocerod was established in 2021 to ensure a complete implementation of public waste management services throughout the Koroška region.
The Koroška waste management centre KOCEROD covers 12 municipalities (74,077 inhabitants).
The purpose of this municipal joint project is to ensure a household waste management system that is comparable to the European level and to protect the environment from harmful consequences of inadequate waste disposal, therefore improving the life quality of our citizens.
