Local organizations
The library of Ksaver Meško consists of four units: Slovenj Gradec, Mislinja, Pameče and Podgorje. This general public library is dedicated to providing education and information as well as cultural and entertaining content. It supplies the inhabitants of the City Municipality of Slovenj Gradec and the Municipality of Mislinja with library material. The library systematically collects, processes and keeps records of all types of content on various media so that it can be used and borrowed by all visitors regardless of their age or education.
For more than 60 years, the library has been aspiring to promote regular visits and use of library materials and to raise awareness for their various events.
For closed groups, they organize bibliopedagogical activities that train the users in independent and efficient use of all library services.
